3:Some Hollow decking when in Installation need plugs, but Solid decking no need that.Many Customers who want to use hollow composite deck boards don’t like the open look at the end of the board, and so these boards require plugs or fascia board. It’s also a good idea to use plugs on hollow composite deck boards to avoid water retention. Solid composite deck boards don’t need plugs.
